What is a domain name and how do I get one?
www.yourdomain.com Your domain is going to be the web address that you give to your customers. If you do not already have a domain name, we can get it for you. The cost is $12/year to purchase your name with DataHostServers.

What is hosting?
Now that you have your domain name, you will need to get that name hosted on a hosting machine. This is the machine that stores the information that your viewers see when they visit your website. We are here to help again. We offer reliable hosting for an affordable price. Click here for details

How long will it take to design my website?
Most designs concepts are ready to view within 2-3 weeks. The completed (live) site can take between 14-30 days to complete. We will discuss this with you once we have a clear idea of your indivual design needs.

Once my website if complete, what sort of maintenance does DataHostServers offer?
We are happy to maintain your site for you. We have a few options to suit our customers’ different needs. Depending on whether you prefer to contract on an as needed (pay by the hour) basis or set up a monthly, quarterly or annually update routine.

Can I edit my website?
Yes, you can edit your website if you have the ability to do so from your home computer. You will need website editing software and and at least a basic knowledge of web design. We are always here to help when you need a little help.

What if I mess up when I edit my site on my own?
Not to worry, we can fix it. Our fee for edits and updates is $20/hour.

In what format should I supply words and photographs about my business for my new website?
All content should be supplied in digital format. This means all text should be in a text or word file and images should be jpeg, gif, psd., ect. Images should be edited and resized and ready to include in the site. This expedites the design work, thus, saving you money. If you are not able to provide digital files, additional costs will be incurred

Do you guarantee that my site will always be available?
We guarantee 99.9% uptime. If we encounter a problem with our servers or we are making updates, we promise to resolve this as quickly as possible.

Can I get e-mail with my website?
Yes, with our hosting plans, you can set up unlimited emails to serve you individual needs. e.g. sales@your-domain.com, info@your-domain.com, john.smith@your-domain.com

I already have a website and I need it updating, can you help me?
